Brad surprised me with a cruise for our 5th anniversary. He told me on January 2nd and we left on the 8th. Of course the girls had to stay home, but they tried to stow away in our suitcase. We had a wonderful, warm, and relaxing time together. Our excursion was probably my favorite part of the trip. We had the opportunity to go snorkeling which was AWESOME and we were taken on the catamaran to a private beach. Brad wanted to hide out when they called us to head back to our carnival fun ship. He insists that he could live the life of those people because all he would need is a pair of shorts and some flip-flops. It was a great get away - I just think that it is going to be really difficult for Bradlee to top this anniversary surprise!

Four Generations

Today my Grandma would be 80 years old. She was a very special lady. She was extremely talented at many different things. She was an amazing cook. She painted as a hobby and created many beautiful pictures that hang in all of our homes. AND she always thought of others first. She sent a card for every occasion. She would even send a card thanking you for the card that you sent her. I can only hope that my girls will get some of her wonderful characteristics especially, her heart.

I am trying to stay up and wait for Brad on Christmas Eve night. He was called at 8:30 and told that he had a water main burst. I have gotten everything ready for Santa to come, but now I am sad because my Santa is not here. Brad and I have exchanged gifts with each other EVERY year at 12:01. It is a tradition that is going to have to be broken this year.
Thanks Maggie for all of the great blog ideas - she is the blog queen! I have included a fun collage of pictures below.
Merry Christmas!

Together For The Holidays
We had the Barrow Christmas at Mamaw and Papaw's this year. We had a great time with all of the kids. The Dirty Santa game was fun. As usual, Spunkie Brandy put the dirty in the dirty santa game. We also celebrated the holidays with our good friends, the McCoys, Allens, and Johnsons. We have such great friends and family. We are thankful for each and every one of them and we hope that they all know that we love them lots.
Santa comes tonight and we cannot wait. We hope to catch him in the act again this year, just like we did last year.

Mallory's First BIG Birthday Party!
Mallory had a wonderful birthday! Meme had a princess cake specially made, and it had to be PINK! All of our family came, but we missed the Harden Family. (We hope you are feeling better Seth.) Our newest addition, Allisyn, was at our party so we wanted to share her picture, and we had snow. Our absolute favorite thing to do in the winter is make snow angels. We couldn't ask for a better birthday! Thanks!
