Back to the Beach

Another fun trip to the beach. Mallory is getting a little farther out in the water. She was even pretending to put her face in the water which is a huge change from May. Of course, after our trip we were informed that the lake water is really gross due to all of the rain that we have had lately. Oh well, if I worried about every gross thing they encountered I would be exhausted and the girls would not have any fun.

Dancing the Night Away

We had a fabulous time at Uncle T and Alicia's wedding. Mallory and Gavin took control of the dance floor, and boy were they entertaining. Mallory wanted Gavin to be her prince so that they could dance together. Gavin preferred to dance like a rock star by himself. Meme and Grampy finally took ALL 5 of the grand kids home so that the Mommies and Daddies could dance. We all had a great time and we are happy that "Unkey T" found a good person to spend the rest of his life with.

We Love to Go Camping

We had a great time camping this weekend. The girls love to be outside. We had fabulous company. Our cousins/friends; Adam, Amy, Hailey, and Cameron camped with us for the second time. Matt, Heather, Gavin, and Lilah came down and grilled out with us and we all fed the geese. The kids loved feeding the geese. The boys, of course, loved throwing the bread AT the geese. The girls were more interested in making sure the baby geese were able to eat some of the bread.
I think that I could live at the campgrounds all summer. That is the life - no phone, no television, no worries.

New Neighbors

We helped Matt, Heather, Gavin, and Lilah move into their new house today. Mallory thought that their new house was great and said that she wanted a house just like Gavin's. We are all so excited because "Gavin's House" is only 1 mile away from our house. Our plan is to eventually make a trail through the woods to each others homes. I am thrilled that our kids will have the opportunity to grow up with and establish close relationships with their cousins. Now we just need to work on getting Ryan, Patty, Mattie, and Baby AND Meme and Grampy out to the "Ville".

No Fear vs BIG Fear

We went to our cousin Kenna's pool today. We had so much fun! Mallory has always been afraid of the water. She does not want her head submerged and she most definitely does not want to release her death grip when we are holding her in the water. Morgan, on the other hand, will go in head first and drinks about a gallon of the water because she wants to.

Sisters

We went to the beach yesterday. Mallory loved running through the water. Morgan loves to eat the sand. We took our lunch and played in the water for about two hours. Mallory was yelling, "Mom this is so much fun!" Then she came running up to me and said, "Thanks for bringing me to the beach Mom." You've gotta love 3 year olds. I wish that they could stay this honest.
